I’ve always been afraid of pie crust because mine were disasters - years of awful pie crusts, and I basically gave up. I ran across Cathy’s book, Pie Squared and followed her instructions *to the T* (including adjustments for our mile high elevation) - and low & behold - it worked. ⁣We’re having pancakes for dinner at our house tonight. We’re self-quarantine & we got 6 inches of snow last night - so, …yeah. 🤨 ⠀ What do you have in your pantry & frig? In the 1st few comments - I’m including links for recipes I use depending what I have on-hand. Milk, buttermilk, or sourdough starter.⠀Depending on what you have on-hand, maybe one of them will work for you. ⠀ These here are my favorite Fluffy Sourdough Pancakes - my bio links to my web homepage & you’ll find the recipe right there. 🥞 ⠀ Then 2 more recipe links in comments ➡️ one that’s milk based, and one that’s buttermilk.⠀ ⠀ Using powdered milk or powdered buttermilk works PERFECTLY. See my story for pics of these things. I use them all the time because they’re fantastic in baking but with what’s happening right now - being able to use something powdered is really handy. You can find powdered milk in the baking section of your grocery store.
